Dialer Analyst - Cedar Falls, Iowa

The role of the Dialer Analyst is to bridge data and technology to maximize Right Party Connects (RPC) per Agent Hour for the assigned business unit.  Dialer Analyst will work closely with operations analyst, statistical analyst, dialer administration and operations teams to deliver competitive and profitable outcomes for assigned business unit.  Additionally, it is the responsibility of the dialer analyst to provide analysis, definition and direction to their horizontal Vice Presidents, Unit Managers and Strategy Directors/Managers as it relates to the performance of CBE’s dialer. 

Responsibilities will also include monitoring and providing advice on day to day staffing levels, managing dialer campaign, including creating dialer reports, charts, analysis, trends, and providing cost analysis on dialing and campaign usage. This position will proactively assist in the design and development of reports and queries to meet process and information needs of assigned business unit. Dialer Analyst will also be responsible for monitoring the daily productivity of dialer portfolios for the assigned business unit.

The duties and responsibilities for this position are:

  • Monitor staffing levels, pacing, wait times, update times, outbound/inbound patterns and abandon rates, list size, pause times, call handling times, and total penetration of inventory to maximize right party contact rates and minimize agent wait time.
  • Monitor overall systems for efficiency including statistics from after call work, wait times, connects (agent vs. system), aborts, hang-ups, cost analysis, and time zone distribution.
  • Monitor and adjust dialing parameters and modify list scheduler based on data and operational requests and feedback.
  •  Create and monitor control charts for dialer groups to aid in understanding when particular dialer indices are out of normal bounds.
  • Provide logical comparisons between different dialer groups with regard to multiple dialer statistics to promote improvement opportunities and benchmarks.
  • Recognize opportunities, frame solutions and develop implementation plans to enhance strategies and create dialing efficiencies using creative thinking supported by mathematical principles and computed using multiple software packages, including SAS. 
  • Develop both ad hoc and scheduled reporting that provides a full 360 degree visibility with regard to dialer metrics and processes for assigned line of business.
  • Develop reports and analysis for business needs and changes by gathering, compiling and reviewing information and data, and evaluating and developing solutions and procedures.
  • Act as a liaison between operational unit and dialer administration team to communicate any potential issues to the appropriate parties involved regarding dialer performance.
  • Establish appropriate meeting schedules, agenda and participants and present logical conclusions using compelling presentation material followed by sound recommendations and solutions.
  • Ensure that all projects remain focused on delivery goals, with deliverables provided in accordance with expected delivery dates.

Collection Manager – Overland Park
The CBE Group’s Overland Park, KS office has an immediate opening for a Collection Manager. 

The Collections Manager is responsible for:

  • Assisting the Director in analyzing portfolios and establishing goals.
  • Implement strategies to meet revenue and profit goals, and comply with client and company requirements.
  • Ensure that staffing levels are in line with expectations and notify the Director as soon as trends in placements or turnover are recognized.
  • Ensure that training needs are met and that supervisors are spending the appropriate amount of time monitoring and coaching their collectors.
  • Coach and develop supervisors.
  • Follow and make suggestions to modify or create Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Ensure that daily key performance indicators are being met.
  • Ensure that any reports are completed accurately and on time.
  • Ensure that client requirements regarding portfolio management, work standards, settlements, and other special handling are met.

 The requirements for this position include:

  • 4 year degree or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 4 years of progressive and documented responsibility in debt collection operations management.
  • Expert knowledge of all laws and regulations pertaining to the collection of debts, including, but not limited to: FDCPA, FCRA, The Privacy Act and HIPPA
  • Strong knowledge of all laws and regulations relating to the employment of personnel.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate and coach personnel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to analyze data.
  • Proficiency with technology, including tools such as e-mail, MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint, as well as collection-specific systems such as collection platforms and predictive dialers.

The duties and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Educating and counseling borrowers on methods to permanently eliminate student loan delinquencies
  • Facilitating conference calls with the borrower and their lender
  • Following up with borrowers to ensure they have the forms needed and assist in filling them out correctly
