The CBE Group, Inc. (CBE) is dedicated to ensuring the safety and security of our facilities and systems—and the data contained within them. We have employed an independent firm that specializes in security audits to validate that our processes and facilities meet or exceed requirements derived from the ISO17799 standard, as well as Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations.

At CBE, data is protected through numerous security measures, including, but not limited to: firewalls, comprehensive virus protection, limited access codes, and inactivity time-outs. We are fully compliant with GLBA and HIPAA regulations, and our processes and facilities have been evaluated favorably against requirements derived from the ISO17799 standard.

CBE operates in secure facilities. All employees wear access control identification badges that limit access to the office buildings and other areas as designated. Our IT and Finance Departments are secured separately by proximity readers and can be accessed by authorized personnel only. Visitors are required to sign in at our reception desk, wear a visitor identification badge, and be escorted by a CBE employee at all times.

CBE maintains a tested, formal Disaster Recovery Plan designed to minimize any disruption to our systems and ensure a resumption of business operations following a disaster such as fire, flood, hurricane, or tornado. Our plan includes detailed descriptions of:
